Food insecurity is an issue facing college students nationwide. At UB, approximately 20-25% of students report experiencing lack of access to reliable, healthy food at some time.
With that in mind, UB recently launched an innovative food pantry program -- Blue Table -- which allows students to submit online request forms for food they need, and pick it up at a convenient location on campus.
Through crowdfunding, we are raising money to purchase food for this program, to ensure every student has food available to them, when they need it most.
