UB Alumni Singapore Community Leadership Award

As the most active international alumni chapter, the UB Alumni Singapore Chapter's track record in giving back to our UB network since 2016 is unparalleled. Multiple initiatives have been set up to bring long-term value to our students and alumni alike. Most importantly, we are committed to contribute back to the wider local community through volunteer initiatives that leverage on our members.

2020 has been an unprecedented year but we are still committed to supporting our UB community as much as possible while providing future opportunities for undergraduate or graduate studies in Buffalo.

During the pandemic, we have organized many virtual events and initiatives for networking and career development.

The first ever Distinguished Speakers Series held outside of Buffalo and US was organized in April 2019 in Singapore

Our flagship member networking series, Buffalo Night, is a quarterly affair with average attendance of more than 60 participants

Our chapter organizes community service events twice a year as a platform for our members to come together and make an impact in our society

The Singapore Chapter established the UB Alumni Singapore Community Leadership Award to provide recognition to UB alumni and students living in Singapore who have made outstanding contributions to our community. This award serves as a financial assistance to those who would be pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies at the University at Buffalo campus in Buffalo, New York.
