The mission of the UB LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association is to contribute to and support a welcoming and inclusive university community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer faculty and staff through education, networking and advocacy. Initiatives of our group include opportunities for faculty and staff engagement, community service, and student scholarships.
LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association Pride Scholarship
The Pride Scholarship was established in 2021 to honor a student who can demonstrate academic success, financial need, and a commitment to LGBTQ advocacy or education. Your gift today will be used to help support the mission of the FSA, including benefitting our student scholarship recipient. The scholarship is awarded every spring semester and the recipient is included in the annual Lavender Reception, a commencement and recognition ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating students who identify with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community at UB.
