Please give today to help us achieve excellence in inclusion.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are essential if we are to achieve excellence in patient care, medical education and research. This is a core value at the University at Buffalo and the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and we have a responsibility to assure that this is a reality for our students, faculty and community.
The Diversity and Inclusion Fund provides much-needed scholarship and fellowship assistance to medical students as well as supports important work being done by our faculty and staff.
Each year, students who have been accepted into the Jacobs School and who have demonstrated a commitment to inclusiveness in health care, research, medical education, and the community are invited to apply for the Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship before starting their first year of medical school.
Our students are grateful for this support from generous donors who make the Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship possible, and we hope that you will consider investing in the future of our medical students too.
"Attending medical school has been a dream of mine throughout much of my undergraduate studies. With this dream came worries centered around the financial burden that often comes with pursuing a career in medicine. Your contribution assisted in alleviating this burden, making my dream that much more possible.”
