Support the LGBTQ FSA at UB!
The University at Buffalo LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association (FSA), started in 2014, aims to contribute to and support a welcoming and inclusive university community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer faculty and staff through education, networking and advocacy.
The FSA’s Pride Scholarship was established in 2021 to honor a student who can demonstrate academic success, financial need, and a commitment to LGBTQ+ advocacy or education. The scholarship is awarded every spring semester and the recipient is included in the annual Lavender Reception, a commencement and recognition ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating LGBTQ+ students.
Your contribution to the LGBTQ FSA will support and sustain the Association and our scholarships.

A gift of $30 can sponsor annual membership for a faculty or staff person who may not have financial means themselves.
The LGBTQ FSA coordinates an educational lunch and learn series open to UB and Buffalo community members, often showcasing queer research or the work of LGBTQ+ educators. A gift at this level can cover the cost of one event.
Each spring the FSA awards scholarships to students who demonstrate commitment to advocacy or education. A gift at this level will sustain our scholarship for years to come.
