School of Architecture and Planning faculty members Joyce Hwang and Chris Romano, along with alumni contributor Nicole Sarmiento and architecture students who worked on a memorial for Sydney Gross in Medina, stand around the installed piece.
Please help me celebrate my 65th Birthday by donating to Objects of Affection!
Objects of Affection is the design and installation of a visitor welcome center in Medina and will be brought to life by students and faculty of SUNY Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. Objects of Affection will be located close to the Sydney Gross Memorial which was installed in 2023 (Click here if you want to read about it). Both projects support the New York State Reimagine The Canals Initiative underway in Medina.
Thank you for considering supporting this cause that means so much to me. You will be helping to keep Sydney’s legacy alive by creating opportunities for Architecture students to have a meaningful impact in their community, which is the best birthday gift I could imagine.
With love and gratitude,
Lori
