UB School of Management students are ready to take on the world.

Each year, our students invest in themselves by attending high-impact events like national conferences, case competitions, and career fairs. These experiences—beyond the classroom—spark professional growth, build networks, and create life-changing opportunities.

We call them WOW experiences—because that’s what we want both students and the professionals they meet to say.

The WOW Fund provides financial support to students of all academic levels, helping them attend professional development events across the country. This academic year alone, the fund has supported 105 students with $22,000 in reimbursements, averaging $486 per student.

But that’s only a small fraction of what’s needed.

Students have requested more than $65,000 in support through the WOW Fund in 2024–25. Too often, students are forced to miss out on these valuable experiences simply because they can't afford to go.

Why It Matters

When students attend events like the National Black MBA Conference, Microsoft Fabric Community Conference, or Collision, they represent not only themselves but also the excellence of the UB School of Management.

From Silicon Valley to Washington, D.C., from Las Vegas to Chicago, they’re showing the world what UB students can do, and having fun doing it!
